Varanasi, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, offers a deep dive into spiritual and cultural heritage. Located on the banks of the Ganges River, it holds immense significance for Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains alike. Known for its ancient temples, ghats, and rich rituals, the city is a living testament to India’s spiritual soul. In Varanasi, the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat is a must-see. Performed every day, it is a divine spectacle where priests offer lamps to the goddess Ganges, accompanied by music, chants, and the fragrance of incense.
